Background
The Planning Inspectorate was looking to improve their casework performance and brought us in to help develop clear insights into how their current workforce planning and scheduling processes and tools drove performance.
Viable Data actions
We analysed data from multiple business systems and examined the business processes through which cases were handled. We identified key opportunities to improve the quality of business data being used for planning and forecasting, while also considering how policies could be updated to directly improve performance across the organisation.
Outputs and results
Our insights and advice led to the Planning Inspectorate developing new and innovative options for inclusion in their transformation programme and underpinned significant improvements to casework performance.
